The Caregiving Industry & Public Awareness – Ms Susan Teng spoke about the growing demand for caregivers and the need for better awareness and support for those in the industry.
• Importance of Mobility in Old Age – Mr Vishanth Sam, a professional physiotherapist, shared expert advice on maintaining mobility as we age, emphasizing the importance of movement for long-term health.
• Long-Term-Care (LTC) & Old Aged Disability – Mr Leo Tan highlighted that individuals aged 65–100 can still purchase insurance (Hong Leong) , breaking the myth that it’s too late. He also shed light on long-term care options available for the elderly.
• OnCall12 – Mr Alvin Low Pek Aun (founder of OnCall12) sharing a step-by-step introduction to a new on-call app, designed for emergencies and accidents, connecting users to service providers in real-time. Currently available in Penang, with plans to expand to other states soon!
